Samsung Galaxy S3 launched in 28 countries, 145 countries to be covered

It is less than a month since its official unveiling that Samsung Galaxy S3 is available in 28 countries of Europe and Middle East. It might seem like a dream but the device has finally launched and people around 28 countries will be getting their hands on Galaxy S3 by the end of the day. Meanwhile those who have already Preordered Samsung Galaxy S3 will be getting it from 6PM in London

Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the most awaited and anticipated smartphone for the year 2012, and certainly it had to be. Pre-Orders figures have climbed upto more than 9 million units which certainly show how much people had been waiting for the device. And on its official release there have been long queues at the retail stores. In Berlin, people have gathered since yesterday night just to get their hands on Galaxy S3 first. Even in London people have gathered to pick up their device at retail stores.

As for the availability of Samsung Galaxy S3 in other regions, the company officials have told that it will roll out in 145 countries and at 296 carriers. According to Samsung senior VP TJ Kang, the phone “will be available more or less globally within a month of the European release” which ofcourse means that it will be available in US as well, before the end of June. However we have already reported the rumours pointing towards 20th June release in US.

Samsung has already become the number 1 smartphone maker recently and with the release ofSamsung Galaxy S3 in 145 countries, Samsung is aiming to make a firm hold on the #1 position in the smartphone maker in the world. Samsung is certainly looking at breaking the record set by Samsung Galaxy S2 and would certainly like to beat 20 million units sale and gain a firm hold on top smartphone maker.

They has also released a new chain of retail stores for the sale of Samsung Galaxy SIII and called them Samsung Mobile PIN placed in London’s most popular locations. Soon they are also believed to travel Australia, India, China, US, Japan, Korea and nine other countries.
